Fort Resolute is under attack. Defend the orbital station in four-player co-op, or step into the boots of Caleb Rourke and fight alongside Mercer and Serrano in solo play.
The next wave brings another boarding point and another hard choice. Hold your position, recover ammunition, restore power, or reach a downed squadmate before the station gives way.

Inside the prototype
Survival is a squad effort.
Make every round count
Fight with human firearms and recovered alien weapons. Carry two guns, pair compact weapons, and choose when to spend your last magazine.
Four players. One squad.
Team up in four-player co-op, coordinate your defense, and revive fallen allies. Playing solo? Lead Mercer and Serrano with Follow, Hold, and Focus commands.
Hold against the next breach
Defend six connected rooms as aliens board the station. Reroute power, protect Control Integrity, and reseal breaches between waves.
Push your armor further
Slide, mantle, and boost through the fight. Spend finite BIO and ALLOY feedstock to repair health and armor, or save it for the next wave.

STARWARD IRON is an Unreal Engine 5 project with a playable survival prototype tested on Windows and Steam Deck. Controller and keyboard/mouse input, squad orders, weapon handling, and wave checkpoints are part of the current build.
Environments, characters, and animation are still being refined. AI-assisted development, artwork, and audio are part of the production process.
Can I play it yet?
The prototype is in internal development. A public download, release date, and price have not been announced. Subscribe below for future playtest and release news.
What platforms are planned?
Windows PC and Steam Deck are the current development platforms. Hardware testing is ongoing; a Steam Deck Verified rating has not been announced.
Does it support co-op?
Yes. STARWARD IRON supports four-player co-op. Team up to defend Fort Resolute, coordinate your defense, and keep each other in the fight. Solo play with AI squadmates is also available.
